Who is the SEAT Alhambra for?
Book the Alhambra if you are a family or small group of up to six who need more seats than a saloon, but not the size or finish of a luxury people carrier. It is a full-size seven-seat MPV, with GX using six seats for passengers. The large sliding rear doors make it easy to get in and out.
The seats are what make it useful. Each of the three middle-row seats slides, reclines and folds on its own and has an ISOFIX mount, and the rear rows fold away when luggage is more important than seats. Child and booster seats are available on request, and fares are fixed before you travel.

How should you set up the Alhambra for your trip?
Decide what matters more, seats or luggage, because the same car can be set up in very different ways:
- Six passengers, light bags: every seat in use and about 267 litres behind the third row, enough for soft or cabin-sized bags.
- Five passengers with a few cases: one rear seat folded gives more space; with both rearmost seats down, it opens up to about 809 litres.
- Four or five passengers with holiday luggage: as a five-seater there are about 658 litres, enough for several large suitcases.
- Bulky loads: fold the rear and middle rows and the space grows to 2,297 litres, with room for items up to about 2.95 metres long.

What is it like to ride in?
The Alhambra is a practical MPV, not a luxury car. Large windows give everyone a good view, and it cruises comfortably on the motorway. Features such as three-zone climate control and seatback tables depend on the trim level, so ask if one matters to you. The photo shows the model, not a specific GX car. If your group is smaller and wants an executive feel, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class seats up to four.

Should six passengers with big suitcases book the Alhambra?
Probably not. With every seat in use, the boot takes only a few soft or cabin-sized bags. Six people with hold luggage will be more comfortable in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class or Ford Tourneo. The Alhambra is best when it runs as a five-seater with large cases, or as a six-seater with light bags.
