When do you need the Mercedes-Benz V-Class?
Book the V-Class when five to seven people and their luggage need to travel together in executive comfort. It is our first choice for a party that would otherwise need two saloons: families flying from Heathrow or Gatwick, wedding groups, company teams and race-day parties.
It combines the carrying capacity of a van with a cabin that feels like a car, so nobody has to squeeze in and no bags are left behind. With every seat in use there is still about 610 litres of luggage space. Fares are fixed in advance, and child and booster seats are available on request.

How do people and luggage fit in the V-Class?
Up to seven passengers sit in three rows, and a party of five or six has plenty of room. Depending on the version, the rear seats can be a bench, individual seats or captain's chairs on rails, which slide, recline and fold or lift out. Even with seven on board, every row has proper head and legroom, which you won't get by squeezing people into a saloon.
With all seats in place, the standard body has about 610 litres of luggage space, roughly four large suitcases alongside a full group. The Long and Extra-Long bodies offer about 1,030 and 1,410 litres, enough for around nine pieces of luggage. The loading floor is low with no lip to lift over, and the rear window opens separately from the tailgate, so the driver can load quickly at a busy terminal. What makes the V-Class comfortable for a group?
Each passenger gets more room. Individual seats, space in every row and a smooth, quiet ride mean the third row feels like a normal seat, not a folding extra. Exact trim and equipment vary between versions, so if a particular feature matters to you, ask when you book. As with the rest of our fleet pages, the photograph shows the model, not a specific GX vehicle.
Choosing between vehicles? A group of four with light luggage will be just as comfortable in the E-Class. A family of six on a budget might prefer the SEAT Alhambra, and a group of eight will need the Ford Tourneo.

How many passengers can the Mercedes-Benz V-Class carry?

Can you fit child seats in the V-Class?
Yes. Child and booster seats are available on request. Tell us the ages of the children when you book, and remember that each child seat takes one of the seven passenger places.
Can I book the V-Class for a wedding?

Is the V-Class a good choice for Royal Ascot, Henley or Wimbledon?
Yes. A party of up to seven can arrive together at the official drop-off point and be collected together afterwards, instead of arranging several taxis. Formal outfits and hats also travel better with the extra headroom.
V-Class or Ford Tourneo: which should I book?
Book the V-Class for up to 7 passengers when comfort matters most, such as a family holiday, a wedding or a corporate group. Book the Tourneo when you have 8 passengers or bulky kit, since it is the only vehicle in our fleet that seats 8.
