What is the BMW 5 Series best used for?
The 5 Series is best for business travel: meetings, station and airport pick-ups for visitors, and days with several stops, where a smart car and a quiet cabin make a difference. It seats up to four passengers and has a 520-litre boot.
GX runs the current G60 generation, which is about 5.06 metres long with a wheelbase of just under three metres, so there is good legroom in the back. Fares are fixed before you travel, and the driver is licensed and DBS-checked. Child and booster seats are available on request.

Which trips suit the BMW 5 Series?
It works best for short, time-sensitive business travel, such as:

Will your luggage fit in the 5 Series?
For most business trips, yes. The 520-litre boot holds two large suitcases plus cabin bags comfortably, and a laptop bag and carry-on for each passenger are no problem. It has a conventional saloon boot lid, not a hatchback, so tall items such as a folded pushchair or a golf bag should be mentioned when you book. If four people each have a large case, choose the SEAT Alhambra or Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
What is it like inside?
The cabin is built around the BMW Curved Display, which combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch central touchscreen running iDrive 8.5, plus ambient lighting. Passengers will notice the quiet ride on the M40 and M25, which makes it easy to take a call or read through papers between meetings. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is its equivalent in our fleet, with the same four seats, a 540-litre boot and a softer ride. If you prefer one brand over the other, say so when you book. The photographs show the model, not a specific GX car.

How many people can travel in the BMW 5 Series?
Four passengers plus the driver. There are three belts across the back seat, but for a comfortable business trip two or three passengers in the rear works best. The long wheelbase gives rear passengers good legroom.
How many suitcases fit in the BMW 5 Series?
The boot holds 520 litres. A saloon of this size comfortably takes two large suitcases plus cabin bags, and the opening is a saloon lid rather than a hatchback, so very tall or oddly shaped items are worth mentioning when you book. For four large cases or sports equipment, a V-Class or Alhambra is the better choice.

Can the 5 Series take me to London City Airport?
