The Seer Green to Heathrow route, junction by junction

Heathrow is roughly 18 miles from Seer Green. Your driver takes the short lane run into Beaconsfield, joins the M40 at Junction 2 by the Pyebush roundabout, and follows it east to Junction 1A, where the M25 is joined anticlockwise at Junction 16. Off peak that is nearer the 25-minute end of the range; in the weekday rush we allow closer to 40 and set your pickup accordingly, so the margin is built in before you leave the village.

Terminals 2 and 3

Leave the M25 at Junction 15, take the M4 east to Junction 4 and follow the spur into the tunnel that serves the central terminal area.

Terminals 4 and 5

Stay on the M25 to Junction 14. Terminal 5 is reached by its own approach off the A3044 and Terminal 4 along the A3113 on the southern side. Arriving at the wrong one means working back round the airport, so we confirm the terminal at booking.

The alternative via Chalfont St Giles

If the M40 near Beaconsfield is closed, the driver can head east instead to Chalfont St Giles and follow the A413 through Chalfont St Peter to the A40 and the Denham Roundabout, joining the M25 at Junction 16 via M40 Junction 1A.

Early flights from a village with no rank

Early flights are no problem even without night buses or a taxi rank. We operate around the clock, so a 4am collection from a lane off Orchard Road is handled exactly like a midday one: the car is reserved the night before, the driver arrives a few minutes early and you sleep on the way down the M40. As a guide, a 06:15 short-haul flight suits a pickup at about 03:40, while a weekday long-haul departure at 10:00 suits around 06:00. Our early-morning airport transfer guide covers the rest.

Heathrow's £7 drop-off charge

Every entry to a Heathrow terminal drop-off zone costs £7, waiting is not allowed, and the charge becomes an £80 parking charge if it is not paid by midnight on the following day. It is already in our fare. The free alternative is to be dropped at the Park & Ride car park serving your terminal, where a free shuttle bus runs to the doors.

Golf clubs, and a station that started as a golf halt

Seer Green & Jordans station opened in 1915 as Beaconsfield Golf Links Halt, and the golf club still sits beside it. Because of that, we carry more golf bags than most firms; tell us if you are travelling with clubs, a pushchair or ski bags and we will send a SEAT Alhambra or a Mercedes V-Class with room to spare. The station itself is on Chiltern Railways' line to Marylebone, so rail to Heathrow means crossing London; the Flightline 102 bus runs to Heathrow from Beaconsfield, but that is where you would have to start.
