Which church in Iver are you marrying at?
Each of the three has a different setting, and the right pickup time depends on which one it is:
- St Peter's Church, Thorney Lane North, Iver village (SL0 9JU): the ancient parish church, with Saxon work in the nave.
- St Leonard's Church, St Leonard's Walk, Richings Park (SL0 9DD): the Victorian church in the same Church of England parish as St Peter's.

Why do Iver road routes need planning?
The M25 passes right through the parish but there is no junction in the Ivers themselves; the M4 and M25 meet at the Thorney Interchange, named after the southernmost Iver neighbourhood. Drivers join the motorway network at M4 Junction 5 for Langley or M40 Junction 1 at Denham instead. The A412 is the main road through Iver Heath towards Uxbridge. None of this matters much on a quiet Sunday, but for a Saturday ceremony it is why we plan routes in advance rather than leaving them to a phone.
Where can we take photographs near Iver?
Two country parks sit just west of the Ivers, on either side of the A412. Langley Park, landscaped by Capability Brown, is known for the rhododendrons and azaleas of its Temple Gardens and is also the setting of The Langley hotel. Black Park has a lake of around 13 acres beside Pinewood Studios. Both are run by Buckinghamshire Council, so check any rules on professional photography before the day.

How do guests get to an Iver wedding by rail?
Iver station is in Richings Park on the Elizabeth line, about 15 miles out along the Great Western Main Line from London Paddington, with a few early and late Great Western Railway trains as well. Richings Park and Thorney are within half a mile of it, but Iver Heath and the village are not. We can meet guests off the train and run them to St Peter's, St Margaret's or the reception, then back again for the last trains. Langley station, one stop west, suits guests heading for The Langley or George Green. For a group, the Ford Tourneo takes up to 8.
How long is the drive from Iver to Heathrow?
Iver is one of the closest parts of our area to the airport: the Iver airport transfer table gives around 15–25 minutes depending on traffic and terminal, usually via the M4 and M25.
