When does Birmingham Airport make sense from Buckinghamshire?
In three situations, and it is worth being honest about which one you are in before booking.
- The flight you want only leaves from Birmingham. Jet2.com and TUI have bases at BHX but no Heathrow flights, so some package holidays and sun routes are simply easier to find there.
- The trip is really about the Midlands. An exhibition at the NEC, meetings in Solihull or Birmingham, or family further north can make BHX the natural place to fly in and out.

How does the route work from the South Bucks villages?
Everything funnels onto the M40. Beaconsfield has its own junction on the edge of town and Seer Green joins there too; Penn passengers can pick the motorway up near High Wycombe; and Gerrards Cross, Denham and Iver join closer to London, at Junction 1.
